On November 20, his agency LM Entertainment announced on their official fan cafe that, "Yoon Ji Sung is currently on his last vacation while serving in the military, and will be discharged from the military on December 13 without returning to his unit to prevent the spread of COVID-19."

They added, "We sincerely thank the fans for waiting for a long time with unsparing love, and we hope you will warmly welcome Yoon Ji Sung, who will return safely from the military service. We ask for your attention and support for his activities that will follow after the discharge."

The singer joined the 7th Infantry Division's boot camp in Hwacheon-eup, Gangwon Province, on May 14 last year and fulfilled his military service as an active member of the army.
