Referring to the possibility of enlisting in April, Baekhyun said on his live broadcast, "It is difficult to promote my 3rd solo mini album, so I don't think I can do it."
The EXO member said, "I thought a lot about whether I should have told you in advance in early March or just later," adding, "I can only postpone my military enlistment as much as possible until the end of this month."
He explained why he did not disclose the news of his enlistment sooner, saying, "I already felt sad about the days that have not yet come, and I felt sorry for the fact that I was losing steam."
In a related development, an official from his agency SM Entertainment said, "We have not been notified of the exact date of enlistment yet," adding, "We will tell you when it is confirmed."
Baekhyun will be the 6tht member of EXO to fulfill his national defense duty, following Xiumin and D.O., who have been discharged, Suho and Chen, who are serving in the army, and Chanyeol, who is set to join the military on March 29.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun will release his 3rd mini-album 'Bambi' on March 30. 'Bambi' is an album containing 6 songs with various atmospheres, including the title track of the same name 'Bambi'.
