Actor Lee Jong Suk will have fulfilled his national defense duty today and be officially discharged from the military today (January 2).

Lee Jong Suk will return to his fans after completing his military duty today.

The actor began his alternative service as a social worker in March 2019, as he was in a major car accident during his childhood and suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament. He was judged to be a fourth-degree supplementary service in physical examinations.

Lee Jong Suk, who is returning to the entertainment industry after about two years, is discussing a special appearance in the new film 'The Witch 2' by director Park Hoon Jung, whom he worked with in the movie 'VIP'. 'The Witch 2' is a sequel to director Park Hoon Jung's previous film 'The Witch', starring newcomers Cynthia and Cho Min Soo.

Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk debuted in March 2010 with SBS' 'Prosecutor Princess', and 'Secret Garden'. He acted as a Hallyu star, appearing in dramas such as 'High Kick!', 'School 2013', 'I Can Hear Your Voice', 'Doctor Stranger', 'Pinocchio', 'W', 'The Hymn of Death', 'Romance Is a Bonus Book', and movies 'As One', 'Hot Young Bloods', and 'V.I.P.'
