On Tuesday, Mar. 23, Indonesian media outlet IDN Times shared their top ten K-pop main dancers that will have you stunned by their dancing abilities. Keep on reading to see who they chose!

These are the Male K-Pop Main Dancer that IDN Times Considered the Best

Among the top ten, IDN Times selected several male K-pop dancers. The first idol mentioned in the overall list is EXO Kai, whose abilities are widely recognized as one of the K-pop industry's best main dancers.

Kai is trained in ballet and jazz, and with his training in SM Entertainment, he is also good at hip-hop dances.

After Kai is his best friend, SHINee member Taemin! Taemin is known as an inspiration and role model to many K-pop idols due to his capable dance skills. The SHINee and SuperM member is known as the "idol's idol" due to how many junior idols he has inspired.

This list would be incomplete with BTS Jimin, who is often praised by both domestic and international fans for his fluid dance movements. Jimin majored in contemporary dance while in middle school and was the top student in the Busan High School of Arts in the modern dance department.

SEVENTEEN's performance team leader Hoshi is also praised for his remarkable dance abilities. Hoshi is such an excellent dancer that he choreographs most of SEVENTEEN's dance routines and teaches his members how to execute the moves.

The next male dancer to make the list is a newer name in the industry, Stray Kids Lee Know. Before his debut as an idol, Lee Know already had a career as a dancer. He worked as a back-up dancer for BTS during their Japan tour and was also a back-up dancer for BTS's "Not Today" music video.

The final male idol on the list is NCT and SuperM member Ten. In the past, Ten was praised by his fellow SM Entertainment labelmate Eunhyuk of Super Junior as one of the best dancers of his group. SHINee's Taemin also mentioned that Ten's dancing abilities are unique and have his own color.

That just proves that Ten is one of the best male idol dancers in the industry!

These are the Female K-Pop Main Dancer that IDN Times Considered the Best

Of course, many female idols stand out in the industry thanks to their dancing skills. One of the most acknowledged main dancers is BLACKPINK Lisa. Lisa's dancing skills are so widely recognized that she has worked as a dance mentor for the Chinese survival program "Youth With You Season 2" and "Youth With You Season 3."

Another female idol who is applauded for her stunning dance skills is TWICE member Momo. Momo is dubbed as a "Dance Machine" for her physique and her sharp body movements. The idol has earned a reputation for her powerful and charismatic dance moves!

Seulgi is praised for her stunning dance skills and her girl crush aura whenever she moves. The idol is raised for being a skilled dancer. Even before she debuted as an idol, Seulgi was featured in numerous dance performances as an SM Rookie member.

The last two female idols mentioned by IDN Times are K-pop idol siblings, IZ*ONE's Chaeyeon and ITZY's Chaeryeong. This sibling duo first showed off their dancing skills in the competition show "K-Pop Star 3." They also showed off their skills in the JYP Entertainment survival program, "SIXTEEN," but both did not debut in the final line-up.

Now, Chaeyeon and Chaeryeong have debuted in their own respective groups and are taking the world by storm with their dance skills.

Top 5 Artists Most Loved By Japanese Female Fans

One of the major music markets that Kpop groups have always aspired to conquer is Japan. Although this market is very fertile, willing and has a well-established fandom culture, it is not easy to win the hearts of the Japanese public.

After the successful performances of TVXQ, KARA, SNSD etc ..., today Kpop has more and more representatives who are 'blooming' in the cherry blossom country. For Kpop groups, of course, they still aim to conquer young people, especially teenagers. So how will their popularity among young people in Japan be?

Recently popular Japanese program 'Music Station' did a survey of Japanese female students to ask them which music artist they liked the most. Note that the answer is not limited to just Kpop or Jpop but any other music artist (group/solo) they admire. Therefore, when viewing the results, many people were surprised to see the very high rankings of some Kpop representatives compared to domestic artists.

Results Top 5 surveyed music artists most favorite Japanese female students

Hạng 5: Aimyon

Hạng 4: King & Prince

Hạng 3: TWICE

Hạng 2: BLACKPINK

Hạng 1: BTS

The results of this chart have quickly become a hot topic of interest to Knet. Many people said that they are extremely amazed when Kpop groups have now conquered the hearts of Japanese female students, no less than Jpop's solo groups or singers. Among them, BTS excelled at number one, while BLACKPINK increased their popularity by surpassing TWICE.

On the other hand, many Knet are also surprised when they do not see NiziU's name in the top 5. The reason is that the Japanese girl group from JYP is becoming more and more popular recently, and there are many sources saying that they are even more popular. TWICE is here. So they wondered if the media did not report correctly when a Music Station survey alone with Japanese female students found BLACKPINK ranked higher than TWICE, and NiziU was not even in the top 5.

Some comments by K-Netizens:

- Wow! BLACKPINK is so cool!!!

- They don't like NiziU?

- What surprise most is that they like K-pop idols more than their country's singers.

- The future of K-Pop is so bright!

- Kingtan!!! BTS is truly famous all around the world!

- What about NiziU? They said NiziU is now more famous than TWICE in Japan, didn't they?

- BTS is famous everywhere!

- I know that BTS is super popular but turns out they are more famous in Japan than Japanese artists!

- BLACKPINK ranks higher than TWICE?!!!!!

- BLACKPINK is really famous in Japan, but I read a lot of newspapers and articles saying they're not that popular in Japan.

- Where are all the people saying that BLACKPINK is not famous in Japan? So tell what is it, huh?

- BLACKPINK is more well-known than TWICE? I think that lots of ONCE (TWICE's fandom) don't realize the reputation of BLACKPINK in Japan... Well, they are more famous than TWICE even though they don't have any Japanese members!
