Sik-K joined the 1st Division's boot camp in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, on the afternoon of June 29. At the site of Sik-K's enlistment, many H1ghr Music members, including Park Jae Beom (Jay Park), Groovy Room, pH-1, and Kim Ha On, appeared and cheered for him.

The rapper posted a photo on his Instagram with a short goodbye. The photo shows singers from H1ghr Music surrounding Sik-K, who now has short hair. Sik-K looks a bit nervous as if his short hair is awkward, but his colleagues next to him look relaxed, drinking coffee or posing with a V, as if they are on a picnic, showing their "true friendship".

Sik-K, in particular, did work hard musically before joining the army. Two days before his enlistment, the artist released his second full-length album, 'HEADLINER,' and received much attention.

He also recently topped the music charts with his 'Giddy Up', with Jay Park, pH-1, Kim Ha On and Rain's 'Gang Official Remix'. On top of that, Sik-K is scheduled to release another single at 6 PM KST on July 1, taking part in writing and composing the song for the popular YouTube program 'Workman'.

In addition, he appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' on June 26 and hinted at joining the military. Sik-K really did various activities for his fans just before joining the army, leaving a meaningful gift. Even during Sik-K's absence, fans will continue to listen to his music.

In Sik-K's final greeting before joining the army, fans promised to stay by him, saying "I'll wait," "Always be careful and stay healthy," and "I'll be listening to your songs hard."
