Johnny Depp just recently came to Brisbane’s Queensland Children’s Hospital in Australia on June 19 - a children's hospital while dressing as Captain Jack Sparrow of the Caribbean in a virtual visit. The whole outlook of someone could totally make people misunderstand their personalities, just as Johnny Depp.

The actor may look intimidating but playing with children and making them laugh are what captain Jack is totally fond of. One of the things he really loves is coming back as his character in Pirates of the Caribbean and entertaining his youngest fans.

He put on his black eyeliner, long messy wig and iconic costume of the Captain. The 57-year-old actor has once visited this hospital but for this time, he did it due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Besides his appearance, Johny also didn't forget to do the Jack slurry accent and mannerisms when speaking to the thrilled patients.

In 2015, Johnny had visited the hospital as his character while he was shooting "Dead Men Tell No Tales" - the fifth Pirates movie in Australia. A video uploaded seen him hugging kids and posing for photographs with the patients and staff.

Gabby, Asha and Thomas were three pre-selected patients who joined with Johnny during the little talk show with Johnny. The actor answered their questions, played games and made them laugh. The group was filled with joyfulness and laughter while Johnny never broke his character.

Johnny sat in an antique chair with a dark, pirate-ship looking interior behind him. He shared about the children, “These three beautiful young people I’ve spoken with this evening and have heard from people who sent videos in…is one of the finest and most beautiful experiences that I’ve ever experienced and that is because of all of your commitment to this project and to taking care of one another and to help out when times are curious and confusing.”

He then told the staff, "You guys work — all the nurses, the healthcare workers, the doctors — you work like absolute heroes."

Maybe Jack Sparrow is a devious captain but Johnny is definitely their hero.
