The Weeknd has just dropped a music video for his new song "Snowchild" on Youtube, which was doubted to be his message for his ex, Selena Gomez.
It's not rare when artists use music to express their feelings and emotions deep inside, or sometimes to direct at a specific individual.
And he even released it on her birthday!
On July 22, The Weeknd dropped an eye-catching video for the song "Snowchild". Fans spotted there are various clues in the lyrics and visual features that were The Weeknd's intention to reference them to his romantic relationship with Selena in the past.
When the video started, many balloons can be seen clearly which resembles of the beauty's birthday.

The same user also pointed out that the animated version of The Weeknd, whose real first name is Abel, does a “double take” at an animated version of a girl who has the same hairstyles as Selena once had.
"he did a double take at someone who wears her hair very similarly to selena (she’s also wearing his jacket in the second pic)," the tweet wrote.
Selena once mentioned that her favorite song from The Weeknd’s album, After Hours, was “Snowchild” and she even added it to her “Cooking Together” Spotify playlist back in April, which could be another indication that the song is about her.

Not sure if the music video is truly a message of The Weeknd to his ex but one thing to know for sure that fans are expecting for the couple to be together, if that's what makes their idol happy.
