The two parts of the comedy, romantic movie was filmed at the same time last summer, as the stars shared that sometimes they would film some scenes for both movies on the same day. Netflix dropped an exclusive sneak peek for the movie.

After making the big reveal, King, who plays as Elle said, “I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support.”

“From the first movie, to the second movie just coming out just on Friday, the explosion of love has been so real. It’s because of everyone on here that all of this has happened,” King continued.

King described that filming both movies at the same time and not telling anyone about it was “the hardest secret to keep ever,”

It is also confirmed that Marcello decided to come back as a writer and director of the third movie, as he did with the first two movies.
