Walt Disney's animated films have been extremely familiar to many generations, but looking back at a critical point of view, many of the studio's famous films have scenes that are relatively sensitive to younger viewers, namely smoking scenes of the characters.
PINOCCHIO: the wooden puppet completely smoked a cigar on his trip.
ONE HUNDRED AND ONE DALMATIANS: The villain Cruella De Vil always has a cigarette on her hand.
ONE HUNDRED AND ONE DALMATIANS: Roger Radcliffe, owner of the animation firm Pongo, also used a pipe in some smoking scenes.
ALADDIN: The genie blew out a heart-shaped smoke in a scene - the smoke opened up the humorous scene with the magic carpet sitting at a table lit by candlelight.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND: In one scene of the 1951 film, the character Caterpillar blew cigarette smoke in Alice's face, causing her to inhale that smoke.
GOOFY: In an episode called 'No Smoking', released in 1951, the character Goofy struggled to quit smoking, but didn't succeed. Later, the studio gave it a better ending: Goofy finally stopped smoking.
PETER PAN: While staying in the tribe of Lily and the Indians, Peter Pan, the favorite character of many kids, even learned how to blow out triangular smoke.
PETER PAN: Captain Hook used a special pipe to smoke two cigarettes at once.
THE TRREE CABALLEROS: Jose Carioca, one of Donald Duck's closest companions, always appears with a cigarette.
DUMBO: A black crow smoked in a song of the 1941 film.
HERCULES: In rage, the god Hades smoked a cigarette until only the filter remained.
THE LITTLE MERMAID: During her first dinner as a human, Ariel smoked the pipe of another guest by mistake.
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME: The three goblin statues, Victor, Hugo, and Laverne, smoked cigars in the movie in their own way.
