According to SBS on February 18, Minhyuk of MONSTA X, Naeun of APRIL, and Jaehyun of NCT will deliver their final greetings on February 28.
The trio, who have hosted 'Inkigayo' for 1 year and 4 months, were loved for their bright and cheerful energy as well as their perfect chemistry. Despite their busy schedules, they are said to have actively engaged in not only thorough script acquisition but also the concept of their costumes.
Producer Jung Ik Seung, who is in charge of directing 'Inkigayo', said, "In the past 20 years, the longest-serving MCs who have been together without replacement are Minhyuk, Naeun and Jaehyun. Thank you for delivering bright and positive energy to 'Inkigayo' viewers for a year and four months."
He added, "It is even sadder as they have been the number-1 combination in viewers' hearts, since they pushed for 'MC Min Nahyun'. However, all three of them will part ways with good results, so I think the past year and four months will remain an unforgettable memory for everyone."
The last greeting of the 3 MCs can be watched on the live broadcast of 'Inkigayo' on February 28. It is said that the successors of the trio are currently in a meeting with the production team.
