The production team of SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Taxi Driver' said that Pyo Ye Jin has been cast for the role of Goeun.
‘Taxi Driver' tells the story of taxi company Rainbow Transportation, which is covered in veil, and taxi driver Kim Do Gi (played bu Lee Je Hoon), completes revenge on behalf of the victim, based on the webtoon of the same name.
Pyo Ye Jin has been selected as a replacement for APRIL Naeun, who previously dropped out of the drama due to controversy over April's bullying sc.an.da.l and allegations of school vio.le.n.ce.
Pyo Ye Jin will take on the role of Goeun, a hacker of Rainbow Transportation who has excellent skills in identity theft. Goeun, a victim who lost her family due to a crime, is a character who uses CCTV, mobile phones, and computers to become Kim Do Gi's eyes and ears to help him act as a private avenger.
The actress is loved by viewers for her fresh acting in dramas such as 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' and 'VIP'.
‘Taxi Driver' will air from April 9 following 'Penthouse 2'.
