THE BOYZ has sold more than 210,000 copies of their 5th Mini Album 'CHASE' in the first week of its release, 4 times higher than their previous album.
The boys' agency Cre.ker Entertainment said, "The Boyz's fifth mini album 'CHASE', released on September 21, recorded sales of about 212,600 copies (accumulated album sales in the first week after the album's release)."
With this, THE BOYZ has set another new record since their debut in 2017, breaking the "best-of-their-own" record on the domestic music chart.
THE BOYZ's latest album has raised high expectations as the number of pre-orders reached about 250,000 before its release. In particular, the initial sales of the album are more meaningful as it represents an increase of about 338 percent in initial sales compared to their first full-length album 'REVEAL', which was released in February.
THE BOYZ has proved their powerful influence as the title track 'The Stealer' ranked No. 1 on Bugs, No.3 on Genie and No.5 on Melon upon their comeback. All six of the songs in the album also entered the nation's major real-time music charts.
Expectations are high on what other records the group, which has captured global fans' hearts a week after their comeback and achieved the best-ever results since their debut, will be able to write down through their upcoming activities.
Most revently, THE BOYZ won the trophy of SHOW CHAMPION on September 30.
