Boy group BTS has confirmed their appearance at the '2020 American Music Awards', where they will perform the title track 'LIFE GOES ON' from their upcoming album 'BE' for the first time.
According to the '2020 American Music Awards' team on October 31, BTS will perform at the ceremony, which will be held at 8 PM EST on November 22.
BTS is set to unveil their new song 'LIFE GOES ON', which is scheduled to be released at 0 AM EST on November 20, for the first time on TV at the '2020 American Music Awards'.
In addition to the new song, the boys will also perform their digital single 'Dynamite', which has been topping major music charts around the world after its release on August 21. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group plans to participate in the event online by releasing videos taken in South Korea.
BTS has been nominated for two categories at this year's American Music Awards, including 'Favorite Duo or Group' and 'Favorite Social Artist'.
"American Music Awards" is considered one of the top three music awards in the U.S., along with "Grammy Awards" and "Billboard Music Awards."
BTS performed 'DNA' at the '2017 American Music Awards'. They then won the 'Favorite Social Artist' category even though they did not attend the '2018 American Music Awards'.
Despite their absence last year, they also won three categories, 'Favorite Social Artist', 'Pop/Rock Genre Favorite Duo/Group' and 'Tour of the Year'. Attention is focusing on whether BTS, who has been nominated for three consecutive years, will be able to make history again this time.
BTS will release their new album 'BE (Deluxe Edition)' on November 20. This album is all the more anticipated because the members actively participated in the overall production of concepts, composition, design, and music videos as well as working on the songs.
