BLACKPINK member Jisoo is currently filming for her upcoming drama ‘Snowdrop’ where she plays the female lead, Eun Young Cho, alongside Jung Hae In’s Im Soo Ho. ‘Snowdrop’ is set in 1987 South Korea during a revolutionary time where mass protests led mainly by students forced the government to hold democratic elections. EMPATHY

SENSE OF HUMOR

Jisoo has a sassy, yet a mature sense of humor and her comedic timing is effortless, which seems to come naturally to her. Knowing how a major portion of K-Dramas relies on the characters’ natural situational comedy, Jisoo will truly shine in her role.

VISUAL

Jisoo has long been known as the member in BLACKPINK who has the visuals of an actress. While it is easy to misconstrue this statement, what is usually meant by this is the fact that she has an expressive face that can emote subtle nuances brilliantly.

EXPERIENCE

‘Snowdrop’ is not the first drama that Jisoo will appear in, but it is the first one she will be leading. However, she does have acting credits under her belt for commercial films and music videos for not only her group but others as well. That would mean that this is the perfect time for her to venture into lead roles.

EXPERIMENTAL

As a member of BLACKPINK, Jisoo has taken on multiple genres and concepts, which have required her to take on roles outside of her comfort zone as well. She is experimental and brave when it comes to trying new things, which will prove a blessing in her acting career.
