Lady Gaga recently ushered in the hot pink futuristic Chromatica era of her iconic pop music career.
But the Oscar winner appears to be taking a page from her Joanne book after dropping her latest single.
She served serious underboob Sunday in a kinky chic look with a black leather bra adorned with silver chains, complemented with a cotton candy pink feathered wig. The 34-year-old wrote in the caption of the sexy selfie: "I hear the thunder coming down."
She was referencing her recent song Rain On Me, as the look channeled the stylized aesthetic of the new album Chromatica.
But it was 2016 when she ushered in the underboob trend with her video for Perfect Illusion from her fifth studio album Joanne. Gaga dropped the music video Friday for Rain On Me, featuring Ariana Grande, with whom she collabed on the single.
They rocked some pink latex warrior looks as they performed the bop against a rainy futuristic backdrop. She previously debuted the lead single Stupid Love in February, which came with an equally dystopian glam video.
The native New Yorker explained Chromatica to Apple Music: "The symbol for Chromatica has a sine wave in it, which is the mathematical symbol for sound, and it’s from what all sound is made from."
"And for me, sound is what healed me in my life period, and it healed me again making this record, and that is really what Chromatica is all about."
"It’s about healing and it’s about bravery as well and it’s really like, when we talk about love I think it’s so important to include the fact that it requires a ton of bravery to love someone."
Lady Gaga's highly-anticipated sixth studio album Chromatica drops on May 29, after it was delayed amid COVID-19.
