After the boyband One Direction shot to fame in the X-Factor, Simon Cowell has always been a solid barrier behind the boys. However, as they all have their own career to focus on, the oldest member, Louis Tomlinson has been reported to separate from the Simon record label after 10 years.

The singer took on his Twitter to announce of his departure and went on surprising his fans about his next album on-going process.

“Hope everyone is doing ok!” he wrote.

“Just wanted to let you know that Syco Music and I have agreed to part ways. I’m really excited for the future and to be back in the studio writing the next album. Can’t wait to finally see you all on tour!”

“Stay safe and see you soon, Louis x”, he jumped to the conclusion.

The star took a step just like Little Mix, who left the label in 2018 after coming at the first place at the X-Factor 2011, and Louisa Johnson, the X-Factor 2015 winner, who also left in 2018.

Louis Tomlinson has worked in the music industry as a solo artist with his debut album, Walls earlier this year. During the preparation, the 28-year-old shared with fans the loss of his mother and sister which made the album had more feelings and depth. His former bandmate, Niall Horan said that he had high praise for the record.

Niall then supported his friend’s decision in saving his time to create his debut album, explaining that Louis needed to ‘go through that cycle’.
