Boy group SEVENTEEN has recorded over 1,09 million album sales in the first week of the release of their seventh mini album 'Heng:garae'.
According to Hanteo Chart, the nation's largest music sales website, 'Heng:garae', released on June 22, completed its first week with 1,097,891 album sales, giving SEVENTEEN the title of a "million seller" and again breaking their own record.
In particular, SEVENTEEN quickly surpassed 1.06 million pre-orders in just five days after their pre-order began. They have sold about 1,000 times more the sales volume of their first mini album '17 Carat'. The sales also make the boys the second best first week seller in 2020, as well as the 2nd artist in K-Pop history to surpass 1 million copies sold within the first week, following BTS.
With the release of 'Left & Right' as well as other songs in the album, the boys has also appeared in the top charts around the world, including major domestic music charts, iTunes charts, Billboard Japan, and China's QQ Music K-pop charts.
SEVENTEEN will continue to actively promote their title track 'Left and Light'.
