An official from Woo Do Hwan's agency KeyEast shared on June 10 that "The new drama 'Hero' is one of the works that Woo Do Hwan has been proposed to star in and is considering."

Hero is a story of ordinary people who think that justice is denied, after they were treated as a criminal even after doing the right thing. They believe that a huge invisible hand is working behind it.

If Woo Do Hwan accepts the casting offer, he will play Oh Kyu Tae, a former prosecutor and now unemployed. Oh Kyu Tae was an amateur boxer until high school, but gave up exercising due to his brother's mysterious suicide and studied frantically to become a promising detective. He then became a prosecutor after graduating from the Legal Research and Training Institute. After failing to contain his anger during the trial of a rich person's violent case, he is forced to retire from the prosecution as well as having his license as a lawyer suspended for the next 10 years.

Attention is focusing on whether Woo Do Hwan, who finished filming the SBS drama 'The King: Eternal Monarch', which is about to end, will quickly return to his next film.

'Hero' is written by Park Hee Kang, who penned OCN thriller 'Possessed', and produced by Daydream Entertainment. The work is scheduled for OCN.
