Girl group MOMOLAND has donated about 100 million won worth of anti-bacteria mask cases to low-income people in South Korea and abroad to ease the COVID-19 crisis.
On April 21, MOMOLAND delivered 10,000 WecanG anti-bacteria mask cases to Plan Korea, an international relief and development non-governmental organization, to help people prevent and overcome COVID-19, along with messages of support.
The girls said they donate to share the pain with many people suffering from the coronavirus pandemic.
"We hope that Korea will be safe from COVID-19 with WecanG anti-bacteria mask cases," they explained.
The idol group has been a goodwill ambassador for Plan Korea since 2016, carrying out various sponsorship campaigns and active public relations activities for children in the global community. They then launched a donation campaign to prevent and overcome COVID-19, again, to support underprivileged people.
Meanwhile, MLD Entertainment, MOMOLAND's agency, has released its hand-washing campaign song 'Rub and Wash Hands'.
