According to multiple K-Pop officials on January 21, Kang Daniel is preparing to make his comeback with a new album in February.

An official from Kang Daniel's agency Konnect Entertainment confirmed on January 21 that, "Kang Daniel is preparing for his comeback in February. We are in the middle of last-minute work."
Kang Daniel's comeback comes about seven months after his mini-album 'MAGENTA' released in August last year.
In the meantime, Kang Daniel will appear in the original content 'Agent BlackJack K' of K-Pop platform 'UNIVERSE', produced by NCsoft and Clepp. The entertainment show, starring Kang Daniel, features the best brain games to send back aliens who infiltrated the Earth in human form. In the teaser released with the poster, Kang Daniel, who turned into a secret agent K, is drawing keen attention from fans as he heralded a new charm.
He will also appear in live concert UNI-KON (UNIVERSE K-POP CONCERT) on February 14.
Since his debut as a solo artist, Kang has sold more than 1 million albums, showing an unrivaled presence. Last year, Kang Daniel released two mini-albums, 'CYAN' and 'MAGENTA'. At the end of the year, he participated in the support campaign 'Protect Me' for children and families in crisis, held by the Holt Children’s Service.
