A showcase to mark the release of Kai's first solo album "KAI (开)" was held online on the morning of the 30th. Member Baekhyun was the MC himself to celebrate Kai's solo album.
On this day, Kai said, "I love EXO's album, but this time, it's a style that I like more. I also chose what I could do well on visual art," he said, signaling a new charm.
"When EXO is promoting, there are a lot of handsome members around us. This time, I'm going to focus on me because I'm with the dancers," he joked and laughed.
He thanked the members of the group SHINee, as well as Taemin, for their help. The global ambassador of Gucci said, "I think Taemin did solo work first. "I've heard a lot of advice," Baekhyun said when he was recording. There was a lot of direct advice. The members really helped me a lot. I gave a lot of ideas about what fans would like to do," he said.
Baekhyun said, "I think Kai will be able to level up solo artist Cairo, not EXO Kai through this album. I'm looking forward to Kai's future," he replied, creating warmth.
The album included a total of six songs, including the title track "Mmmh," "Nothing On Me," "Amnesia," "Reason," "Ride Or Die," and "Hello Stranger."
The title track "Mmmh" is an R&B pop genre with an impressive simple yet addictive melody. The lyrics are impressive as they confidently express their feelings drawn to the opponent they first met.
"KAI (开)" will be released at 6 p.m. on various music sites.
