EXO Kai has finally dropped the schedule that will lead up to his upcoming sophomore mini-album "Peaches."
EXO Kai Drops Comeback Schedule for Second Mini-Album 'Peaches'
On November 18 KST, the comeback schedule for SM Entertainment's world class performer EXO's Kai was announced through various social media.
The schedule poster contains the various content fans can expect in the coming days leading up to the release of Kai's upcoming second mini-album "Peaches."
According to the schedule, Kai will be releasing the first mood sampler on November 19. On November 20 and 21, he will be sharing the first and second teaser image.
Kai will once again tease fans with another mood sampler on November 22, and two more teaser images on November 23 and 24. On November 25, a third mood sampler will be shared.
With only a few days left before the release of the mini-album, Kai will be sharing a prologue film on November 26. While on November 28 the fifth and final teaser image will be released.
On November 29, a music video teaser for Kai's upcoming album title track will be shared to tease fans more on what to expect for "Peaches."
And finally, on November 30 at 6pm KST, Kai will officially release his second mini-album "Peaches" and his music video. The album will be made available on several major music sites such as Flo, MelOn, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, KuGou Music, Kuwo Music, and more.
EXO Kai's First Mini-Album 'KAI' Attains Domestic and Global Success
Meanwhile, "Peaches" will mark Kai first-ever comeback as a solo artist, and exactly one year after Kai released his solo debut album "KAI" back on November 30, 2020.
Kai's first mini-album saw immense success both domestic and globally. Led by the single "Mmmh," "KAI" went to rank high on multiple charts around the world, peaking at No. 3 on Gaon's album chart.
Over in Japan, "KAI" had landed at No. 11 on Oricon's album chart, while it also took No. 11 on Billboard's World Albums chart in the United States. The album also peaked at No. 7 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, and at No. 23 on the Official Charts' digital albums in the United Kingdom.
When it comes to sales, "KAI" had sold over 359,563 album copies in South Korea, earning the album a platinum certification by the Korea Music Copyright Association (KMCA) for accumulating 250,000-equivalent units in sales.
With "KAI" having seen success, it can be expected that the EXO member's second mini-album will also see the same.
