BTS’s “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” has joined the 800 million view club on YouTube!

On December 1 at approximately 7 a.m. KST, the music video for the “MIC Drop” remix hit 800 million views on YouTube, becoming BTS’s fourth music video to do so after “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” and “Fake Love.”

The “MIC Drop” remix MV was released on November 24, 2017, meaning that it took around three years and six days for the music video to hit the milestone.

BTS’s “Dynamite” has become the fastest music video by a Korean act to reach 650 million views!

The “Dynamite” MV was released on August 21 at 1 p.m. KST and it hit 650 million views shortly after 11 p.m. KST on November 30. This means it took about three months, nine days, and 10 hours to reach the milestone.

“Dynamite” has beaten the previous record for Korean artists set by PSY’s “Gangnam Style”! While there is no official source for the exact time it took for PSY’s MV to reach 650 million views, “Gangnam Style” hit 600 million views in about three months and 16 days and BTS’s “Dynamite” has reached 650 million views in a faster time than that.

“Dynamite” is BTS’s eighth music video to reach the milestone, following “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” “Fake Love,” “MIC Drop,” “IDOL,” “Fire,” and “Blood Sweat & Tears.”
