According to the latest news from Xportnews, this morning, actor So Ji Sub and his girlfriend, former announcer Cho Eun Jung, have announced their official marriage after completing the registration procedure. The actor's company - 51K - confirmed the information.
51K agency said on Thursday, "So Ji Sub has a precious relationship and has made his wedding vow. The two, who admitted their relationship in 2019, promised to be partners for life based on trust and love for each other, and by registering their marriage today, they became legal couples."
The agency also announced that based on the couple's wish, they will have a private wedding ceremony with only family members.
"They decided to donate 50 million KRW to 'Good Neighbors' to support struggling children. The donation will be used to buy tablet PCs and smart devices in order to provide some comfort and help at this time when everyone is having a difficult situation," the agency continued.
Finally, the agency said, "We would like to thank everyone who loves and supports So Ji Sub, and please understand that it is difficult to disclose details regarding the marriage in consideration of his non-celebrity spouse."
Previously, So Ji Sub and Cho Eun-jung announced their romantic relationship in May last year. The two were said to have met for the first time when So appeared on SBS' 'Full Entertainment Midnigh ' in February last year to promote the film 'I'm Going to Meet You Now.' At the time, announcer Cho was working as an annoucer for 'Full Entertainment Midnight'.
Cho Eun Jung was born in 1994 and is 17 years younger than his husband So Ji Sub. She majored in Korean dance at Seoul Arts High School and Ewha Woman's University. She made her debut as an announcer through the game-specialized channel OGN in 2014 and later became very popular with "Roll Goddess." She also worked as an announcer for SBS' ' Full Entertainment Midnight' from late 2016 to the end of June last year.
So Ji Sub made his debut in the entertainment industry as a model in 1995 and was awarded with MBC's sitcom'Three Guys and Three Girls'. Since then, he has received great love for appearing in a number of films including 'Delicious Proposal,' 'Thousand Years of Love', 'What Happened in Bali,' and 'I'm Sorry, I Love You.'
