Joo Won may be headed to the big screen!
On April 14, a source from Huayi Brothers Korea told MK Sports, “Joo Won has received an offer to appear in the film ‘Firefighter’ (literal title) and is reviewing it.”
Directed by “The Battle of Jangsari” director Kwak Kyung Taek, “Firefighter” is about a story of firefighters.
Actors Kwak Do Won and Yoo Jae Myung have been confirmed for the cast, while Yoo Seung Ho stepped down due to scheduling conflicts after filming was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
If Joo Won chooses to accept this role, it’ll be the actor’s first film in five years since the 2015 film “Fatal Intuition.”
He is currently filming the SBS drama “Alice,” and “Firefighter” is scheduled to begin filming sometime during the first half of this year.
