It’s a part that we sometimes look forward to, especially if the main leads have a lot of chemistry. It takes a lot of experience and practice to really sell the passion of a kiss scene, so it’s no a surprise that there are a handful of K-drama actors who are known to be great kissers on the small screen. Here are 11 of those actors (in no particular order)!
Note: No idol actors were included in this list.
1. Yoo Yeon Seok
Yoo Yeon Seok has one of the best reputations in the Korean entertainment industry as being known as “the kiss master.” He was once on the variety program “Happy Together” and the MCs couldn’t help but praise his kiss scenes. When they asked what kind of tips he could give for other actors, he mentioned that he likes to share a glass of wine with the actress prior to filming to make them feel less anxious about the scene. He tries his best to get close with them so it’s not awkward when it comes time to film. How sweet!

2. Ha Seok Jin
Ha Seok Jin is another K-drama actor who has been dubbed as being a kind of guru when it comes to on-screen kisses. In an interview, when asked what his secret was in creating a perfect kiss scene, he said that he likes to use his hands a lot. He said that he holds their head and face, making it look more passionate. Some of his most notable kisses are in “Drinking Solo,” “1% Of Something,” and “Radiant Office.” The one in particular that really stands out was his kiss with actress Jun So Min in “1% Of Something.” Their chemistry was through the roof!
3. Gong Yoo
Gong Yoo has co-starred with an impressive group of talented actresses. From Yoon Eun Hye, Lee Min Jung, Jeon Do Yeon, to Kim Go Eun – Gong Yoo has won the lottery in terms of having amazing counterparts when it comes to K-dramas and kiss scenes. Having debuted over 20 years ago, he has become very good at showing fans and viewers his skills when it comes to kiss scenes. The passion and conviction in which he is able to act these particular scenes is always squeal-worthy and memorable.

4. Jo Jung Suk
One of Jo Jung Suk’s infamous scenes is from his movie “Architecture 101” where his character instructs his good friend Seung Min (Lee Je Hoon) on how to kiss properly. He must have taken a page out of his own book as he’s known to have some very steamy kiss scenes. One of the most infamous ones is from the drama “Don’t Dare To Dream” (Jealousy Incarnate). His character has a very deep and passion-filled kiss with Pyo Na Ri (Gong Hyo Jin) and there are so many fireworks and heat between the two that you can’t help but squeal.

5. Ji Chang Wook
Ji Chang Wook has MANY memorable kiss scenes. He is without a doubt, one of the most convincing K-drama actors when it comes to fervent kisses. One of his most popular ones is the blindfold kiss in “Healer,” and we were totally blown away. But just when we thought Ji Chang Wook hit his best kiss scene yet, he graced us with even more fiery kiss scenes continuously with every role he took on – remember that shower scene in “Melting Me Softly“? 6. Sung Joon
Although Sung Joon isn’t appearing in too many K-dramas these days, it’s hard to leave him out of this list of best kissers. He’s been known to display kiss scenes with a lot of tenderness and emotion, making these particular scenes in dramas very memorable. The one in particular that people love is from his K-drama “I Need Romance 3.” His counterpart was Kim So Yeon and staff of the drama had mentioned how much natural chemistry the two had and how Sung Joon was able to make his co-star so comfortable despite her nerves.

7. Lee Jong Suk
When it comes down to memorable kiss scenes, Lee Jong Suk has quite a few under his name. He even has that unique kiss scene in “Pinocchio” alongside Park Shin Hye where the two share a kiss involving a piece of bread. But his epic kiss scenes didn’t stop here. His roles in “I Hear Your Voice,” “W,” “While You Were Sleeping,” and “Romance Is A Bonus Book” all had heartfelt kiss scenes that gave viewers butterflies and emotions.

8. Hyun Bin
We definitely can’t forget Hyun Bin. Hyun Bin has given his all when it comes to kiss scenes and there are many that come to mind. His first epic kiss scene and hit K-drama came when he starred as Hyun Jin Hoon in “My Lovely Sam Soon.” Shortly after, there was no stopping his success as he went on to star in other major hit K-dramas like “Secret Garden,” “Memories of the Alhambra,” and most recently “Crash Landing On You.” With all these K-drama successes came some very memorable and impactful kiss scenes. The most notable one was from his recent drama “Crash Landing On You” alongside Son Ye Jin.
9. Yeon Woo Jin
Yeon Woo Jin has a long history of K-dramas and some very noteworthy kiss scenes. The main one that comes to mind is the epic shower kiss in “My Shy Boss.” The intensity and ardent way in which him and his co-star kiss makes it one of the most memorable ever. Just to name a few others under Yeon Woo Jin’s belt: “When A Man Falls In Love,” “Marriage Not Dating,” “Queen For Seven Days,” and “I Wanna Hear Your Song” are also other K-dramas where he steamed up the small-screen with his passion filled kisses!

10. Lee Jin Wook
Another actor that can’t be missed when it comes to being a great K-drama kisser is Lee Jin Wook. One of his most unforgettable kisses came in the role of Yoon Seok Hyun in “I Need Romance 2” and then the following year as Park Sun Woo in “Nine: 9 Times Time Travel.” Lee Jin Wook’s co-stars always seem to mention in interviews how sensitive and emotional he is, which probably helps with these sensual kiss scenes!

11. Park Seo Joon
When it comes to having some hot and heavy kiss scenes, Park Seo Joon really takes the cake. The kiss scene from his drama “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” garnered over 300 million views – it also obviously helped that Park Min Young was his partner! Not only are all of Park Seo Joon’s K-dramas huge successes, but there isn’t a single drama he has done where the kiss scene isn’t memorable. There is certainly no disappointing when it comes down to it for Park Seo Joon!
