Lee Jong Suk may star in a new romance drama with Shin Min Ah!
On December 10, a media outlet reported that Lee Jong Suk will star in the new drama “The Remarried Empress” (literal translation) as the prince of the Western Kingdom.
In response to the report, Lee Jong Suk’s agency ACE FACTORY shared, “’The Remarried Empress’ is one of the projects Lee Jong Suk received an offer for. His appearance has not yet been confirmed.”
Based on a fantasy romance web novel, “The Remarried Empress” revolves around Navier, the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire, who chooses to divorce her husband, the emperor, after discovering his intention to make his mistress the empress. Navier’s journey unfolds as she is determined to become an empress elsewhere if she cannot be one in where she is.
Lee Jong Suk was reportedly offered to play the role of Heinrich Alex Laszlo, the prince and heir to the throne of the Western Kingdom. He boasts economic power and national strength comparable to the Eastern Empire. He falls for Navier and, after ascending to the throne, marries her as they find common ground.
