The hosts of MBC's 'Music Core' will present a special performance to introduce the new addition of IZ*ONE Kim Minju to the team.
As reported, Kim Minju from girl group IZ*ONE has been selected as a new MC for MBC's 'Music Core' and her first episode will premiere on June 13. Kim Minju is set to work with the show's existing MCs, SF9 Chani and STRAY KIDS Hyunjin.
The production team of 'Music Core' said, "We have high expectations for Kim Minju of IZ*ONE, who joined as the new MC. In particular, we expect the fresh chemistry of the 3 MCs, which will be presented with existing MCs, SF9 Chani and STRAY KIDS Hyunjin, to breathe new life into the program."
The upcoming Saturday live broadcast will feature a special MC stage, an essential welcome for the new MC. The three MCs are working together to perfect the stage in a busy situation ahead of their own groups' comeback. Chani and Hyunjin, who are the main dancer and rapper of their group, can will show of their amazing vocal skills as well as their cute performances.
Kim Minju, who debuted as a member of IZ*ONE in 2018, made herself known to K-pop fans as a visual ace boasting perfect beauty. In addition, she has been showing unexpected charm being a sub-vocal and sub-rapper in the group.
With the addition of IZ*ONE Kim Minju, the newly refurbished 'Music Core' will air at 3:30 PM KST on Saturday, June 13.
