After the dramas, now it is the Korean movie category to be affected by COVID-19. Space Sweepers – the new spaced-theme blockbuster of Song Joong Ki is no exception.

After KBS, SBS, jTBC, tvN all announced the suspension of a number of unfinished projects as well as leaving the broadcast schedule of many hit movies, it is the producers’ turn. Korean film production also announced to delay the scheduled air time of their movies.
On August 27, Space Sweepers – blockbuster marking a new era of Korean cinema as the first work to exploit the subject of Asian space – announced the postponement of the show. This is also the second time Song Joong Ki has a blockbuster movie postponed screening date because of COVID-19, which was originally scheduled to premiere in the summer.
Jang Hyuk‘s action movie – The Swordsman – also changed its release date from September 17 to September 23. Sung Dong Il, Kim Hee Won, and Ha Ji Won’s film Collateral are discussing the delay. Horror cartoon Beauty Water scheduled to open on September 2 has also delayed the release schedule.
