OCN dramatic cinema ‘Search’ has confirmed its premiere on October 17. The three main posters of Jang Dong Yoon, Krystal (f(x)), Moon Jung Hee, Yoon Park and Lee Hyun Wook, who have completed preparations for the launch, were unveiled.
The nation’s first military thriller drama ‘Search’ (written by Koo Mo, Ko Myung Joo, directed by Lim Dae Woong, Myung Hyun Woo) tells the story of a top search team formed to uncover the secrets of mysterious disappearances that began in the front-line Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). As the drama is reiceiving enthusiastic responses, the main poster of the five strongest soldiers in the film were released on September 14, giving off a vibe equivalent to the Avengers.
If the poster released earlier dramatically raised questions about the unknown enemy that appeared in the DMZ, the main posters show the characters facing the “fear that no one has ever seen.” The different faces in front of the tense DMZ are drawing attention as they perfectly convey the characters’ own individuality.
First of all, we have Sergeant Yong Dong Jin (played by Jang Dong Yoon), whose face is confused as he has to carry out a special mission that was deployed ahead of his discharge date. Standing next to him, Lieutenant Son Ye Rim (Krystal Jung) exudes a courageous aura. With her uniform on top of her chin and her determined eyes showing her determination to seek the enemy to the end, one can feel her composure even in the chaotic Demilitarized Zone.
Kim Da Jeong (played by Moon Jung Hee), a commentator at the DMZ Memorial Museum with an anti-war history, is drawing attention with her confident charisma that stands out even without her wearing a military uniform, just like a former special forces officer. On the other hand, captain Song Min Kyu (Played by Yoon Park), who will lead the special squad as the team leader, expressed his somewhat complicated feelings with a faraway look look. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Lee Joon Sung (played by Lee Hyun Wook), who is the deputy team leader, seems to say that he is a prepared soldier.
The five, armed with different personalities and solemnity, have an unrivaled charisma. Thus, the overwhelming visual alone delivers the intense thrill that ‘Search’ wants to offer, further raising expectations for the first broadcast.
‘Search’ is the fourth project of the new genre ‘dramatic cinema’, which combines the formats of movies and dramas. With a large number of film producers joining forces to herald the birth of well-made genre through the invested production of movies and the dense story of dramas, ‘Search’ will premiere at 10:30 PM KST on October 17.
