L (Kim Myung Soo) from boy group INFINITE is considering to star as the male lead for the new drama 'New Secret Royal Inspector'.
An official from the drama bureau told DailySports on June 10 that L will play the main role of the drama 'New Secret Royal Inspector'.
However, his agency, Management Esang said that nothing is decided yet and the INFINITE member is just reviewing the role of secret inspector Sung Yi Gyeom.
'New Secret Royal Inspector' is a story about a unique job which existed only in Korea. Their work is to become the mouths of the people and the ears of the king, without revealing themselves. It deals with the heroes we need in this modern time through the secret royal history, which was the true "Kingsman" of the Joseon Dynasty.
The historical drama is helmed by director Kim Jung Min, scripted by writers Park Sung Hoon and Kang Min Sun, and produced by iWill Media.
