On June 9, George Floyd's family organized a funeral for him at The Fountain of Praise in Houston, which attracted more than 500,000 appeared along with many famous celebrities. Ne-Yo sang the song It's so hard to say Goodbye to Yesterday as an act to mesmerize him. During the performance, the singer continued sobbing and had to wiping his tears.

Ne-Yo said: "50 states are having protests at the same time. George Floyd's death has changed the world and truly made it a better place. I want to personally say thank you to him. The tragic death of Floyd was a sacrifice on behalf of our children, and help them to have a better future. I appreciate you, brother."

Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum also appeared at the funeral. These two actors were wearing white clothes, putting on protective facemasks and sitting at the guests' line. Jamie Foxx has the name George Floyd printed on the mask.

The hurtful death of George Floyd, 46-year-old on May 25th, received many public attractions. Recently, famous stars like Ben Affleck, Kanye West, Madonna... were heading on streets to join in racial discrimination protests with the other people. The funeral was held at the North Central University Chapel, Minneapolis on June 4th. His family organized three more memorial anniversaries in the states of Minnesota, North Carolina and Texas.

Houston, Texas is Floyd's family hometown. After the funeral, his body will be taken to burial. On June 2nd, more than 60.000 Houston citizens were on a parade to farewell George Floyd.
