Singer Beyoncé is said to be "in talks for a reunion with Destiny's Child" alongside her group's members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. So we have enough reasons to hope for a stage with these three talented artists.
The trio - whose hits include Independent Women, Survivor and Bootylicious - last performed together two years ago, when Kelly, 39-year-old, and Michelle, 40-year-old joined Queen Bee, 38-year-old, for an unforgettable performance at Coachella in 2018.
Now sources say even more gigs and new music could be in the pipeline later this year once the coronavirus pandemic is over.
An insider told: "There’s been tentative talks between all three. They’ve always said they would get back together one day when the time is right – and there is no time like the present."
“Nothing has been signed off yet, but as soon as a vaccine is ready and the pandemic is over, watch out for an announcement," continued the source.
"It would really lift fans’ spirits.”
One of the most successful girl groups in the world, Destiny's Child sold over 60 million records and was nominated for 14 Grammy Awards in total.
Despite the few changes in line-up over the years since the band's original formation in 1990, Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle were the ones remained standing strong when they officially disbanded in 2006.
After the split, they've been friends since then and even reunited in 2013 for Beyoncé's half time performance at the Superbowl .
Kelly spoke about the possibility of returning as three together last year and told: "I know every time there is a decision to be made for myself and the ladies to do something, it’s usually a surprise."
"And our fans have always been so supportive and so awesome, like, I like to give them surprises."
While Beyoncé's father Matthew Knowles has previously commented on doing something to mark the band's 30th anniversary this year.
