Beyonce is reportedly set to be signing a very big deal with Disney to work on three Disney films, which will land her $100million (£80million)
The singer - best known for the hit songs Crazy In Love and Single Ladies - is close to agreeing to a $100M (£80million) deal with the company to work on three new projects, according to a Tuesday report from The Sun.
One of the first projects will be the soundtrack for Black Panther 2, which will come out in 2021, it was claimed.
'Disney have put forward a deal worth around £80million, which will secure Beyonce for three major projects, including the Black Panther sequel,' said the insider.
'Beyonce has become a major player for Disney and is the perfect fit for their brand,' a source told the site.
'She's worked on a number of projects for them, including voicing Nala in the reboot of The Lion King, and now they're keen to secure her for more projects,' adding the insider.
'As part of the deal they are also trying to get her team to agree to have Beyonce voicing some of the new documentaries coming to Disney Plus.
'After the success of having Meghan Markle voicing the film Elephant on the platform, they have projects coming up which align perfectly with Beyoncé's brand.
'The negotiations are still ongoing but it's the final details that are being thrashed out now.'
She first worked for Disney in 2007 with their Alice In Wonderland as part of the Disney Dream Portrait series.
Before becoming a massive singer and marrying Jay -Z, Beyonce had worked on the 2002 film Austin Power In Goldmember. Then came the 2006 films The Pink Panther and Dreamgirls. In 2008 came Cadillac Records.
On The Lion King, she worked on the soundtrack and voiced the character Nala.
This news comes just after she was part of a graduation video.
Beyonce was 'terrified' to start her own company. The Love On Top hitmaker admitted she was nervous to take a 'bet' on herself and start her own business but ultimately she took the plunge and never regretted it.
'The entertainment business is still very sexist,' said the wife of rapper Jay-Z with whom she has three children. 'It's still very male-dominated, and as a woman, I did not see enough female role models given the opportunity to do what I knew I had to do.'
She added, 'Not enough black women had a seat at the table, so I had to go and chop my own wood and build my own table.
'Then, I had to invite the best there was to have a seat. That meant hiring women, men, outsiders, underdogs, people who were overlooked and underseen ...
'Stepping out is the best thing you can do for self-discovery. I know how hard it is to step out and bet on yourself. I had to trust that I was ready... but that was terrifying.'
Speaking during YouTube Originals' Dear Class of 2020 special, she added: 'Thank you for using your collective voice and letting the world know that Black Lives Matter.
'The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and so many others have left us all broken. It has left the entire country searching for answers.
'We've seen that our collective hearts, when put to positive action, could start the wheels of change.
'Real change has started with you, this new generation of high school and college graduates who we celebrate today.'
