Alec Baldwin, 62, and his wife Hilaria, 36, have announced that they are having a fifth child on the way.
News of her pregnancy comes just four months after Hilaria suffered a miscarriage, which she documented real time on social media.
It was the second miscarriage she had in a seven month period.
The 36-year-old fitness instructor announced the news on Monday, with a video of her bare bump and the sound of the baby's heartbeat. She was overjoyed to hear her child's sound.
This will be Alec's fifth child with Hilaria, with it set to join siblings Carmen Gabriela, six, Romeo Alejandro David, two in May, Leonardo Angel Charles, three, and Rafael Thomas, four.
Alec also has a 24-year-old daughter, Ireland, who he had with previous wife, Kim Basinger.
Hilaria has suffered two devastating miscarriages in the past year, one last April and another in November.
The pregnancy four months ago saw them expecting a baby girl but it unfortunately wasn't to be, four months into her term.
Hilaria documented the loss and posted a video on Instagram in which she shared: "We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at four months. We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be."
“We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies — and we will never lose sight of this. I told Carmen and took this so I could send it to Alec. I guess this is a good way to share it with you too."
Hilaria continued: "I told her that this baby isn't going to come at all… but we will try very hard to give her a little sister another time. I’m really devastated right now … I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today. I don’t know what else to say … I’m still in shock and don’t have this all quite clear."
The heartbreaking incident made Hilaria turn to therapy to help her through her second pregnancy loss in seven months.
She said that she was going "pretty much every week" and it helped her back to happiness.
Hilaria said at that time: "There is nothing to lose by going to someone and talking. I said it from the beginning: I wasn’t ok when it happened, but I knew that I would be and I wanted to be. For myself, I really needed to choose happiness in such a difficult time. And I needed to work very hard for it."
