Two high school students from the same school tragically died by su.ic.ide on the roof of an officetel in Incheon, with a suicide note found at the scene indicating that they had been struggling with academic stress.
According to the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station, around 1:10 AM on December 26, two high school students were found on the roof of a 20-story officetel building in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon. The two students were found unconscious at the time when they were discovered and were taken to a nearby hospital. However, the two students eventually lost their lives.
It was revealed that the two high school students were in their second year at the same high school and went up to the roof together. Their cell phones, bags, and a s.uic.id.e note were discovered on the rooftop.
According to a report by JTBC, it was confirmed that the note expressed their struggles and concerns about academic stress.The police explained, "There was nothing about family discord or problems with their friends included in the note."
The police believe there is no foul play involved in the deaths of the two students and are investigating the exact circumstances.
