The teaser for the OST 'Wake Up' of KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Hello, Me!' (written by Yoo Song Yi, directed by Lee Hyun Seok) was released on various music sites and YouTube on February 15, drawing attention.
'Wake Up' is a dance song that contains a strong message of support to people who are falling in love, and the released teaser showed some of the making videos along with Weeekly's refreshing voice, drawing curiosity.
KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Hello, Me!,' which is set to premiere at 9:30 PM KST on February 17, is a fantasy romantic comedy drama that tells the story of the 37-year-old character Ban Hani (played by Choi Kang Hee), who is not afraid of anything in the world and hot for everything.
Weeekly had previously started singing OST since member Monday lent her voice for the drama 'When I Was The Most Beautiful', but 'Wake Up' is their first attempt at OST as a full group.
Weeekly surpassed 20,000 copies in cumulative sales with their debut album 'We Are' last year, and their 2nd mini album 'We Can' recorded 13,000 copies in initial sales and 26,000 cumulative sales, an overwhelming record. They then continued their 'super rookie' move, achieving 6 rookie awards at various year-end awards ceremony in 2020.
Meanwhile, the 'Hello, Me!' OST Part 1 'Wake Up' by Weeekly will be released on various music sites at 6 PM KST on February 18.
