Throwback To EXO ExplOration in Singapore - 5 Times EXO Gave Us Full Of Emotions
Kpop sensation EXO brought their fifth concert tour EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration to Singapore last weekend and the atmosphere was just downright sizzling.
Despite being three members down, the septet (sans Xiumin, D.O., and Lay) showed no signs of slowing down as they effortlessly powered up the stage with their dynamic performances of hits like ‘Call Me Baby’, ‘Tempo’, and ‘Love Shot’.
Here are some of the moments of the evening when EXO got us absolutely hooked!
1. THE SOLO AND UNIT STAGES
As if the atmosphere hadn't heated up yet, Baekhyun's EXO-L melted on his sensual "UN Village" solo stage. From his chic white suit to the dazzling stare and frivolous smile, this charming dancer must know what to do to attract fans. He is not called the standard attractive!
When Chen followed his dear singing in "Lights Out" to attract the audience, EXO-L did not stop at all. Power duo EXO-SC (composed of Chanyeol and Sehun) is also not to be underestimated-their high-octane performances of "What A Life" and "Closer To You" made fans stand up and beat them immediately with the dance performance. Of course, we also have the ultimate dance machine Kai, and his exciting dance number "Confession".
We certainly didn't expect that on the cover of EXO's "Been Through" single, Suho's up-regulated walking sculpture of the upper body on top of his already impressive singing and dancing skills-is full of glory. A leader’s sweetheart even "stunned" our attention to detail, because he continued to change his clothes into the red suit that best suits his Singapore identity.
It is also worth noting that during his short stay in Singapore for 2 days and 1 night, Suho even spared time to visit 'Gardens by the Bay'. He even praised our breathtaking night view and smoothly added that it was "as beautiful as you (EXO-Ls)". How perfect can this man be?
2. THE COMEDIC BANTER
EXO showed the fans that they are still cheeky boys and constantly teasing each other-for example when the members encourage Chen to show more skin during their next solo stage, they continue to talk about his "sexy thighs" and even Mini exercises of squats and lunges burst out on the stage. Chanyeol joked that Chen would bend down and return to Korea, and we lost!
3. THE DRESS CODE
It is hard to miss the white ocean, which is set as the unique dress code for EXO-Ls Singapore concerts. To the boys' surprise, the white dress code implies a white cat named "L" in EXO's "Power Up" music video. "L" also happens to be EXO's friendly pet name given to its fans (L-ie / Aeri). How meaningful is the fan project of SG EXO-Ls!
4. THE OG CLASSICS
The band led us on the road of memory with their hit songs "Growl", "Overdose" and "Call Me Baby". In the past eight years, EXO and EXO-L have experienced great ups and downs. These classic masterpieces undoubtedly make the boys (and us) nostalgic.
5. THE NEXT TOUR?
At the end of the concert, they expressed regret that only one performance was held in Singapore, and promised to come again for a two-day performance next time-no, even a three-day performance, hoping that all members present will give their best.
At the same time, fans can also look forward to the release of the album and the return of the boys' promise.
