Jennie, Arin, Jisoo Top January Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

While Jennie continued to take the top spot, just like last month, the remaining 2 rankings in the top 3 witnessed significant change.

On the morning of January 17, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation announced this month's brand reputation ranking for female idol group members. The rankings were determined through the brand reputation index of 535 girl group members, using data collected from December 17, 2020 to January 17, 2021.

As a result, Jennie (BLACKPINK) successfully kept her throne after taking the #1 spot last December. Jennie's brand reputation index in January was 2,855,331, a decrease of 18.91% compared to the previous month. High-ranking phrases in the idol's keyword analysis included "Youtube", "Solo" and "Instagram" while his highest-ranking related terms included "open", "sexy" and "enchanted". Jennie's positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 72.55% positive reactions.

Unlike Jennie, the 2 remaining positions in the top 3 have an increase in their brand reputation index. Arin (Oh My Girl) has risen to No. 2 in this month's rankings with a brand reputation index of 2,415,960, marking an 18.07% increase compared to December.

Meanwhile, the 3rd place belongs to another BLACKPINK member, Jisoo, with a brand reputation index of 2,405,932, an impressive 41.11% increase compared to December.

Meanwhile, despite their successful comeback, (G)I-DLE members did not reach the top 3. Their highest rankings on the chart this month are Soyeon (4th place) and Yuqi (5th place).
