After revealing she has been bullied for more than 10 years by Jimin, former AOA member Mina said the groups came to her house to talk.
Mina left a lengthy post on her Instagram account early on July 4, sharing what happened after her story was publicized. Apparently, the AOA members all visited her to apologize, but she herself claimed she didn't feel their sincerity. Here is the full statement from Mina:
"First of all, I'm sorry that I couldn't control my emotions and caused a lot of troubles to many people. I'm sure there's been a lot of bad news coming up, which some people don't want to know about, and I'm sorry as many people came to my house and worried about me. There were a lot of things and words that a celebrity shouldn't do. I'm just really sorry.
A few hours ago, all the members and managers came to my house and talked. At first, Jimin came in angry and I was dumbfounded. I asked if it was the right thing to do for a person who came to apologize. She asked where the knife was and if she should just died. So we sat down and talked. And she said she couldn't remember. I kept talking about what happened, and of course I wasn't in my right mind, and she couldn't remember. I talked about this and that. I had never done that before. I couldn't remember everything, but I looked into their eyes and talked to them.
She thought she had solved it all at the funeral. But that was a funeral, and I went to comfort her on that day. She contacted me well that day, and she couldn't remember what she did, so she said sorry anyway, so from her point of view, it was a situation that she could think of as such. Yeah, but how can 11 years of pain be solved in a day? There was no conversation about what happened to me that day, and how can I have such a conversation in that place [a funeral]? Of course, I comforted her with all my heart and I returned to being me again after that day. I can't let everything go in one morning because I was so broken.
Anyways, I kept on talking. She just listened and after that, she said sorry and apologized. Anyway, I decided to accept her apology and let it go. The rest of the members and I promised to not think about bad thoughts again. I'm sure two fathers are watching us from the sky. I can't write a lie.
To be honest, when I first saw her coming, I wondered if she did feel guilty. Anyway, I've heard her apology. Yes, I heard… I heard… Actually, I don't know what to write. Honestly, I didn't think her came to apologize, but this could be because of my inferiority complex, or because I want to see it that way as I was so mad at her. She might have meant it. I can't say anything. Well, I need to… Now I'm going to calm down and continue to receive treatment, and I'm not going to make this much noise anymore. I'm so sorry… I'm sorry.
I'll try to fix it little by little. I'm so sorry for the many people who have been affected by me today. Honestly, I don't think I can write anything good about her even in this post. Earlier, on July 3, Kwon Mina caused a storm by posting on her Instagram several times that she had been severely bullied by Jimin for the past 10 years and had no choice but to leave AOA, though she did not want to leave. Mina left AOA in May last year with the expiration of her contract with her former agency FNC Entertainment and became an actress.
