Chanyeol, a member of boy group EXO, will join the military after working on the OST of the movie 'The Box' and preparing for EXO's 10th anniversary album.

According to the film industry on March 4, Chanyeol will attend a press preview of 'The Box' at COEX Megabox in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on the morning of March 18 and meet with director Yang Jung Woong and reporters.
The movie 'The Box', starring Chanyeol, is a road movie featuring Jihoon (Chanyeol), who can sing only when he uses a box, and Minsoo (Jo Dal Hwan), a producer whose success is the most important. Chanyeol participated in the OST as well as playing the lead role in the movie.
Chanyeol is expected to join the military on March 29, so the promotion of 'The Box' is likely to be the last official external schedule for him before joining the military.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol is known to be working on a new album to celebrate the 10th debut anniversary of his group EXO until just before joining the military. EXO members are working on the albums to mark EXO's debut day on April 8. In addition to D.O., who was discharged from the military in January, the music video filming involving the members will be held soon.
SM Entertainment has yet to say anything about this report.
