On February 9, the Seoul Central District Court finalized a sentence of 10 months in prison, as well as 50 hours of sexual violence education courses, for former B.A.P member Himchan.

n June of 2020, Himchan was indicted for sexually assaulting a woman 'A' at a villa in Namyangju some time in 2019. Throughout his first trial, Himchan insisted that there was no force involved and that all sexual activities took place with mutual consent. He then belatedly admitted to the charges in April of last year during his appeal trial hearing, dedicating a public apology.
Now, the court has decided to uphold the initial ruling given to Himchan's case, in the form of a 10-month sentence in prison, plus 50 hours of sexual violence education. Himchan is also expected to pay 'A' for damages.
The former B.A.P member is currently involved in another court case with two individuals for attempt of sexual molestation.
