BLACKPINK has set another meaningful milestone with their hit song 'How You Like That' on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.

According to YG Entertainment on December 1, BLACKPINK's single 'How You Like That' recently surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify. It's been 145 days since the song was released, and this is the shortest time for a K-Pop girl group's song to reach 300 million streams on Spotify.

This is the third song in of BLACKPINK's career to reach 300 million streams on the music platform. Earlier, 'Kill This Love' became the first song by a K-Pop girl group to exceed 400 million streams, while 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' also achieved a stream count of over 300 million. 'How You Like That' shows overwhelmingly faster streaming growth than the two songs, drawing attention to its ability to set new records.

Along with 'How You Like That', 'Ice Cream', one song of BLACKPINK's 'THE ALBUM', also recorded 200 million streams on Spotify the previous day. A number of songs from their first full-length album, including 'Lovesick Girls', have already surpassed 100 million streams or are just around the corner, realizing BLACKPINK's strong global popularity.

'THE ALBUM', released on October 2, topped iTunes album charts in 57 countries, including the United States, shortly after its release. It then made history for K-Pop girl groups, ranking second in both the U.S. Billboard 200 and the British Official Albums chart in the first week of its release.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has made a surprise announcement of a mega-project. As satellite-view photos of major cities around the world, local time with the group's signature sound, as well as a mysterious teaser video titled 'BLACKPINK – The Invitation' were released, global music fans are anticipating what will be the peak of their 2020 grand finale.
