On December 15, YG Entertainment announced that as of 3:23 a.m. KST that day, BABYMONSTER’s music video for their debut single “BATTER UP” had surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
The music video for “BATTER UP” was first released on November 27 at midnight KST, meaning that it took just over 18 days and 3 hours to reach the milestone.
“BATTER UP” is now the fastest K-pop group debut music video ever to hit the 100 million mark, smashing the previous record of approximately 1 month and 21 days set by aespa’s “Black Mamba.”
