On December 1, YG Entertainment announced that as of 7:48 a.m. KST that day, BABYMONSTER’s music video for their debut single “BATTER UP” had surpassed 50 million views on YouTube.
The music video for “BATTER UP” was first released on November 27 at midnight KST, meaning that it took just under 4 days and 8 hours to reach the milestone.
“BATTER UP” has now become the fastest K-pop group debut music video to hit the 50 million mark, breaking the previous record of approximately 5 days and 23 hours set by aespa’s “Black Mamba” in 2020.
