K-pop groups and the color in their name may have something in common that you don't know.

There are numerous amount of K-Pop groups out there and one of the thing which allows them to stand out from other groups is probably their name. Kpopmap noticed that throughout the years there are at least 13 K-Pop groups out there who had used colors in their group name.

APINK

Just like the cute and feminine of pink, APINK's music also focuses more on the girly and elegant side. Some of their iconic songs at the beginning are: No No No, Mr. Chu, My My... Recently, the girls come back with more mature sounds as the members are now grown up women. However, their songs still include the soft side just like "pink" in their group's name.

BLACKPINK

The name is the combination of two opposed shades: black and pink to describe their two concepts. Pink for the cute and girly theme while black will be representative of the badass, cool and edgy vibe. And yes, BLACKPINK slay both of them!

CNBLUE

CN is an initialism for Code Name, while BLUE is a backronym for burning, lovely, untouchable, and emotional; it is meant to portray the images of Jong-hyun (now leaves), Min-hyuk, Jung-shin, and Yong-Hwa, respectively.

Red Velvet

Having the same concept as BLACKPINK, we have Red signifies their vivid and bold image, whereas "Velvet" reflects their classy and toned-down side.

Orange Caramel

Not like their group's style, Orange Caramel consists of 3 members with quite cool and fun songs, sometimes weird. Just like the "orange caramel" flavor in their name.

Rainbow

Not one, but the whole rainbow includes in the group's name. Fans could understand that each color will represent for each member with different styles and characteristics.

Brown eyes girls? This just simple but however, it brings up the dreamy and mysterious vibes of the girls.
