For the long-time girlfriend of movie-star Lee Jung Jae, Lim Se Ryung, that just happened.

Lee Jung Jae, who starred in and directed the upcoming blockbuster Hunt, starring Lee Jung Jae and fellow movie star Jung Woo Sung, gave a special shout-out to his lover.

On July 27, the movie held its press premiere for Hunt. The movie is all the more special because it marks Lee Jung Jae’s directorial debut.

On this day after the screening, members of the audience were surprised to find that Lee Jung Jae had given his girlfriend special thanks in the credits section.

In the ending credits of the movie, Lee Jung Jae wrote “The director and production team would like to thank the following people.” The movie then goes on to thank Kim Sung Soo, the CEO of KAKAO Entertainment, Jang Se Jung of KAKAO M, actor Lee Sun Kyun, the husband of actress Jeon Hye Jin, and Lim Se Ryung.

Lim Se Ryung is one of Korea’s most widely known Chaebols, a term used to describe members of Korea’s most powerful families that own conglomerates. She is an heiress to Korea’s Daesang group and is also the ex-wife of Samsung CEO Lee Jae Yong.

The two revealed they were dating eight years ago and have been together ever since. Lim Se Ryung accompanied Lee Jung Jae at the movie’s screening at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, as well as the 2021 LACMA Film Gala.
