Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young will be starring together in KBS2’s upcoming drama “Love According to the Law” (literal title).

Based on a hit web novel of the same name by writer Noh Seung Ah, “Love According to the Law” is a law romance drama that unfolds at Law Café, which is both a law firm and a café. The drama tells the story of a landlord, who is a former prosecutor once known as the “monster genius,” and a lawyer who runs the café.
The upcoming drama will be penned by Lim Ji Eun of KBS’s 2020 Drama Special “One Night” (literal title) and helmed by director Lee Eun Jin who worked on “Baker King Kim Tak Goo,” “My Lawyer, Mr. Joe,” “Good Manager,” “Waiting for Love,” and “Feel Good to Die.”
Lee Seung Gi will be playing former prosecutor and current landlord Kim Jung Ho who has known Kim Yu Ri for 17 years. Although he is charismatic, he also has a pure side to his personality. Having impressed with his wide acting spectrum through “Mouse” and “Vagabond,” this will be Lee Seung Gi’s first time reuniting with Lee Se Young since they starred in “Hwayugi” together.
Lee Se Young plays the beautiful and eccentric lawyer Kim Yu Ri who has a personality like fire, being unable to hold back at injustice. She used to work at a powerful law firm, but she suddenly leaves her job and opens up a café instead. The drama will portray what happens when she finds out that the owner of the building is her high school friend Kim Jung Ho. Having garnered much love for her recent role in “The Red Sleeve,” viewers are highly anticipating Lee Se Young’s next transformation.
