Actor Kim Min Seok will complete his national defense duty 15 days early due to the military's COVID-19 and vacation policy.
Kim Min Seok was previously scheduled to be discharged from the military on July 20, but according to the Ministry of National Defense's policy that soldiers who take their final leave should not return to the military to prevent the spread of COVID-19, he will be discharged early. There will be no separate discharge event.
The actor joined the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province on December 10, 2018, and was assigned to the Army's Science Combat Training Corps to fulfill his national defense duties. While serving in the military, he also performed in the musical 'Return'.
Kim Min Seok started acting on tvN's 'Flower Band' in 2012 and was greatly loved for appearing in following works such as KBS2's 'Who Are You: School 2015', KBS2's 'Descendants of the Sun', SBS' 'The Doctors', JTBC's 'Hello, My Twenties! 2' and tvN's 'Because This Is My First Life'. As he was loved for his solid acting skills before joining the army, attention is being paid to his post-military career.
