Netflix is on their way to invest more in the K-Drama market and recently announced the lead cast of the new series "D.P" with Jung Hae In.

“D.P.” (“Deserter Pursuit”) tells the story about Ahn Jun Ho, who is fulfilling his mandatory military service like any other young men at his age but then suddenly got himself enlisted into a special squad published with the aim of chasing down deserters from the military. It is originally based on the popular webtoon by Kim Bo Tong.

Jung Hae In has been cast as Ahn Jun Ho, a quiet and calm private who only adapts in a familiar atmosphere with familiar people. He becomes part of the D.P. squad for his skills of observation and patience.

Goo Kyo Hwan, who recently has been in the hit film “Peninsula”, casts as Han Ho Yeol, the team leader of the D.P. squad. Despite the first impression of a playboy with no ambition or drive, he is actually a dependable soldier who helps Ahn Jun Ho adjust to the new life in the squad.

The other part of the main cast is sergeant Park Bum Goo - the officer in charge of the D.P squad that played by Kim Sung Kyun. He suffers from high pressure and often swears and scolds Ahn Jung Ho and Han Ho Yeol, but he actually cares for the squad.

And the last but not least is the role of Im Ji Seob, played by Son Suk Goo as an executive in the military police who graduated from the Korea Military Academy.

“D.P.” will be directed by Han Jun Hee, whose debut feature-length film, “Coin Locker Girl” was selected to screen in the International Critics’ Week section of the 68th Cannes Film Festival. The series' writers will be Han Joon Hee and the original webtoon writer, Kim Bo Tong.
